The storyline of the Bellagio Casino robbery, where a male walked out with $1.5 million in chips, already sounded like it came out of a movie. There’s a new angle to the story, though. Now, the Bellagio Casino story seems a lot more like “Ocean’s 11.” A 29-year-old municipal judge’s son has been caught for the crime. It makes you wonder if his father is going to take out a cash advance loans to bail him out, or let him sit in jail.
Bellagio Casino criminal arrest
There was a Bellagio Casino robbery. Carleo was caught and charged for it on Thurs, February 3. Carleo was allegedly caught in a sting, trying to sell some of the $1.5 million in Bellagio chips that were stolen in December. There were undercover police officers meeting up with Carleo. This was so he could sell the high value chips also as controlled substances. Robbery, of a deadly weapon and trafficking of a controlled substance are all charges he will face.
All the Bellagio Casino connections
The accused Bellagio Casino thief is not your average criminal. There was $1.5 million in poker chips which were stolen. He had the guts to do that and is connected in a way. The man is only 29 years old. He is also the sun of George Assad who’s a Las vegas Municipal Court. It is expected that Judge Assad will not come talk about his son’s arrest. He has not thus far. youtube.com/watch?v=NktlrixHG78&feature=player_embedded
More concerns have to be answered after Bellagio Casino arrest
The arrest of the Bellagio Bandit didn’t answer everything. You will find several concerns to be asked still. The way that Carleo got into the casino and back out with chips is unknown. It is also interesting that the poker chips were valuable. Second, the Bellagio and LVPD have not revealed whether the Bellagio is one of the casinos that implant RFID poker chips in high-value chips. Either way, the Bellagio and several other casinos plan to discontinue $25,000 chips in April.
