Pharming On Your – Land Identity Theft On The Internet

By now you have probably received at least one of those “urgent emails”. The one telling you that your account is about to be shut down unless you immediately update your personal information by clicking the link contained in the email.

They may even have heightened the urgency by telling you that if you do not take immediate action that you could be facing a lawsuit. For what exactly is not clear but it does the trick by raising your stress level and forcing you to take instant action.

Medical Identity Theft affects individuals, healthcare providers, and health plans.

1. For the individual, it leads to a trail of false medical records and can plague your medical and financial life for many years. The elderly, newborns, minors, people whose medical information are on public registries (e.g. cancer registry) and individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities are particularly at risk for medical identity theft. Dead people are often targeted too.

2. A health care provider who incorrectly bills the victim for treatment provided to the identity thief may have to write off all the expenses related to the thief as he has trouble canceling health insurance claims that were made for the thief. His reputation can be damaged and his practice negatively affected.

3. The reputation of the health plan can be damaged too as they pre-approved and paid for the thief’s treatment which is applied to your annual or lifetime benefit allowance. They also store wrong medical information in its database and share it with the Medical Information Bureau.

The next identity theft what to do is to notify the local police and file a criminal report. Not every police department might have a specific report for identity theft, but you can always fill out a miscellaneous report. Be sure to bring documentation and dollar amounts with you when you do this. If you are travelling when the identity theft occurs, it is important that you report the occurrence to the local police force, as they will be responsible for the investigation. There are also some federal agencies that you can get involved if you don’t think the local investigation will be enough.

The next identity theft what to do is to contact one of the top three credit reporting companies and put a fraud alert on your credit report.  This step may be the most important thing to do in case of identity theft because it will provide you with protection from an identity thief from opening an account using your personal information.  You only have to contact one of the credit reporting companies and they will spread the news to the other agencies.

Check List to Determine whether an Identity Protection Service would be good for you:
• Would you like a service that protects your medical identity so it cannot be stolen?
• Would you like a service that monitors your social security number and medical insurance information every day so you would know right away if a thief has stolen your medical identity?
• Would you like your entire family to be protected, including your children to age 25 and senior dependents?
• Would you like to have an Expense Reimbursement Insurance Policy?
• Would you like to fully recover your identity by having a professional team of paralegals call the agencies, do the paper work, and cooperate with the police to help find the thief.
• Would you being willing to pay a small monthly fee to have a team of experts help take the stress out of your life?
It is my pleasure to share with you a safe and secure way to live without stress and fear of having your medical identity stolen

Criminals John McCluskey And Casslyn Welch Busted

The man hunt is over. Casslyn Welch and John McCluskey are back captured. Bonnie and Clyde keep getting brought up concerning these two. 3 weeks ago, they escaped from a prison in Arizona. They were believed to be in a number of locations after their escape, including Yellowstone National Park, and Arkansas. The two were captured because a Park Ranger called in their vehicle’s license plate in an Arizona state park.

Park Ranger makes the main difference

A Park Ranger was on patrol in Apache Sitgreaves National Forest. He spotted an unattended fire in a campground and had the vehicle’s license plate checked out, as outlined by ABC. When it came back stolen, he alerted police. Soon afterward, SWAT showed up to take them into custody. That’s when they found out who they were. They were arrested peacefully. John McCluskey said that he would have fired on police had he not been caught off guard. Casslyn Welch, his fiancé and also his cousin, went peacefully as well.

Huge hunt has ended

John McCluskey and Casslyn Welch didn’t break out alone. Inmates Daniel Renwick and Tracy Province went with them. {Province and Renwick were captured soon after, and McCluskey and Welch were spotted in Yellowstone National Park and in Butte, Mon}. Butte was the last sighting of the two. They are also thought, according to the Associated Press, to be linked to the murder of Gary and Linda Haas in New Mexico. The Haases were found around Aug. 4, and also the car McCluskey and Welch possessed had New Mexico plates.

Clyde and Bonnie

There is an idiotic notion that something is romantic about Bonnie and Clyde. Bonnie and Clyde were not very romantic either; Clyde was gay, and they stole money from the individuals that cheered them before the FDIC existed. They belong in jail. There should be a medal for the Ranger who called them in. He should at least get a raise.

Edinburgh Man Fined For Dishonest Use Of Blue Badge

A man from Scotland has been fined over £7,000 after being caught using a forged blue badge to park in disabled spaces.

The badges, which entitle holders to free parking and access to disabled spots, are given out by local councils to improve the quality of life of disabled people in their constituency. The man, a Mr Humayun Reza, previously ran a care home in Scotland and had copied his fake blue badge from geniuine versions issued to residents of his care home by the local council.

Mr. Reza was caught last year after parking a non disabled vehicle displaying the fraudulent blue badge in a disabled parking space in Camden, London. Investigators had been looking into Mr.. Reza for a long time, but had previously been unable to catch him or a member of his family in the act.

Mr. Reza was taken to court last week, where he was convicted and fined £7515, with the judge telling him his crime was indicative of dishonest and fraudulent behaviour.

On a sad note, this kind of offence looks like it’s on the increase, with 2010 already seeing far more similar convictions and arrests than 2009. Disabled people, who have their blue badges and the extremely popular motability scheme, have had to endure up to 70% of parking spaces reserved for them being used other people in major UK cities.

Fines for the crime have seen an increase too, with offenders finding themselves on the receiving end of several thousand pound fines. This seems like it could be an attempt to deter criminals from committing this kind of offence, although with the numbers increasing, it’s debatable whether or not it’s working.

Mr. The Edinburgh man’s fine is the second largest for this crime in 2010, with a woman from Birmingham being fined more than £8,000 earlier this year for stopping her Renault Kangoo (strangely a model regularly used for WAV conversions) illegally whilst displaying a stolen blue badge.

TODAY – Find Criminal Records

Trying to find criminal records can prove to be a very time-consuming task. Most people do not know where to look to find criminal records and often end up going onto the local police department or judicial office. This may be the most traditional method, but with today’s technology not the cheapest or most convenient one. If you’re low on cash, need more than one record pulled, or need them right away then this method will simply just not work for you.

Repellents (mace, pepper spray, tear gas).

These sprays are effective at distances of 5-to-20-feet. But the repellent must hit the attackers eyes; otherwise, these devices are not good defenses. Also, these small canisters of pressurized spay must be retrieved and activated quickly without having to unpack them first, or having to uncover safety or trigger-locks.

Impact weapons (club, studded-club, baton, expandable baton, kubotan, night stick, billy-club, flashlight, walking stick, cane, heavy umbrella, and similar implements).

Handheld clubs are effective defense weapons if they can be swung at the vulnerable parts of the attacker, i.e., swung at the ankle, knee, groin, abdomen, elbow, or throat. However, some of the ninja or martial-art impact devices require expert training and licensing before they can be carried or used for self-defense.

Knives (pen or folding).

Knives must be retrieved and opened before they can be used, which could end up being a delayed or failed action. Also, using a knife on an attacker is never as easy as the movies make it look. It is no easy task for beginners.

Also, a knife can be used against the person carrying it, like a gun can be used on its owner. Yet, a knife can intimidate a potential attacker, or cause enough pain to stop an assult quickly.

Stingers (sharp edged or pointed devices, like, a ball-pont pen).

Small ready-to-use sharp instruments, like, a small fist-held ice scraper or heavy plastic stud can be carried on a belt or key chain, or hung around one’s neck or wrist. They can be retrieved and used rapidly with a sufficient force to breakup an attack without causing major injuries.

1. Cell Phone Stun Gun-The powerful stun weapon that looks like a cell phone giving you the element of surprise. It is one of the most popular because it has 800,000 volts, a 100 db alarm and a bright flashlight. The disable pin is the best feature. It also comes with a nylon holster.

2. Telescopic Stun Baton-This is so popular because it is one of the most effective defenses against dog attacks. A baton 13 inches long extends to 21.5 inches when activated. This powers up the 800,000 volts that are guaranteed to get man or dog’s attention. It has a 120 db alarm, light and is rechargeable with a lifetime warranty.

Summary. The choosing and carrying of small self-protection devices could require more than one type to cover the varied defensive situations that might occur for an individual. For example, during an argument or heated confrontation, a verbal de-escalation technique and a canister of pepper-spray could defuse the situation adequately.

Yet, if someone is attacked from behind, the defender might need a stronger device to break the attacker’s hold long enough to escape it. The dual-purpose devices that discharge high-voltages at the same time could be most helpful in these kind of situations. Still, to gain the most complete overall self-protection, combinations of the personal alarms and self-defense devices could be required for individuals

Elias Abuelazam Believed To Be Serial Killer

At an Atlanta airport, a man suspected of five deaths with 20 stabbings was arrested. Tel Aviv, Israel is where the man was headed on a flight. The man in question, Elias Abuelazam, is an Israeli citizen who came to the United States legally. Of the 20 incidents, 16 took place in Michigan, 3 occurred in Virginia and one in Ohio. The majority of the victims were African American, and it is thought that race was a factor in the crimes.

Beginning attacks in May

In late May, reports began of people being approached by a man, fitting Elias Abuelazam’s explanation, asking for help with a stalled car or for directions. This man would get a knife, stab the victims and flee when the victim died. An arrest for simple assault of Elias Abuelazam was why the police though he might be the one behind the killings, reports ABC . Michigan, Virginia and Ohio law officials decided to work together to try and identify who this man is killing.

Race a part of the killings

The crimes are thought to be motivated by race considering most of the victims were male African Americans. The police focused their search on Flint, Mich., where 16 of the 20 incidents occurred. In Leesburg, Virginia, one more 3 happened when Toledo, Ohio only had one. The stabbings caused a Flint judge to issue a warrant for the arrest of this man. A tip was given to Michigan police where they found him boarding a flight to Tel Aviv, Israel at the Atlanta International Airport. A page for him was issued over the intercom, and police took him into custody without incident.

No conviction yet

He is only a suspect right now although there is plenty of evidence suggesting otherwise. Michigan, where the five fatalities occurred, is not a death penalty state, so he isn’t really likely to be sentenced to death if convicted.

Earl Watson Says Wife Actress Jennifer Freeman Assaulted Him

Actress Jennifer Freeman, from “My Wife and Kids,” is charged with assaulting her NBA star husband, Earl Watson. In legal papers filed by Watson last week, Jennifer is said to have attacked Watson because he was suspicious about a text message she had gotten at about close to midnight. Watson filed for divorce after the Aug. 1 event, seeking full custody of the couple’s 10-month-old daughter.

Earl Watson and Jennifer Freeman’s fight

As outlined by court documents, Jennifer Freeman had received a text message at around 11 p.m. Aug. 1, which moved a suspicious Earl Watson to check into her phone, says TMZ. Watson said that Jennifer, who was furious that he took the phone, started to assault him, hitting him “twice in the face with her right open hand.” According to his claims, Jennifer then grabbed and bit into his right wrist, “breaking the skin, leaving teeth marks and drawing blood.” After biting the wrist, Watson said Jennifer proceeded to chomp down on his chest, making him bleed once more. But that wasn’t all. According to Watson, Jennifer even attempted to attack him with an iron, but he was able to prevent any more harm by knocking the object out of her hand.

Jennifer Freeman, who’s 24, is best known for her role as Claire Kyle within the ABC television sitcom “My Wife and Kids.”

Earl and Jennifer are still in love

Earl Watson, who played with the Indiana Pacers last season, appears to have had a change of heart. On Thursday, Watson reportedly decided to withdraw his divorce petition. The two are reconciling with “plans for making their marriage work,” reports the gossip news site.

Earl Watson and Jennifer Freeman were married May 17, 2009, at TV producer Ed Weinberger’s California mansion in Los Angeles. Their first and only child, Isabella Amour Watson, was born last year on Oct. 16.

Strange Case Of The Dingo Murderer

Dingo’s are notoriously wild, except in one very notorious case! Have you heard about the dingo who was so smart or clever as to calculate and execute a murder?  How about tidy up by neatly folding and stacking infant clothing, get into and out of an automobile, or know how to work the zipper on a bowling bag?  I hadn’t heard of this!  But the Chamberlain’s,  Northern Territory Government, and just about everyone in Australia (and much of the rest of the planet for that matter) have.

So goes the story of Michael, Lindy, and Azaria Chamberlain and their holiday at Ayers Rock (now known as Uluru), situated in the donga (a detailed  definition of “donga” can be found in “Idiom of Oz“) somewhat close to Alice Springs(Northern Territory, Australia). Occurring on the evening of August 17th 1980, this mis-justice began to play out in the shadows of the campgrounds of this huge sacred Aboriginal location with the screaming echoed words, “the dingo’s taken my baby!”

Since that time, endless investigations, studies, documentaries, and a mini-series/television movie have all examined and scrutinized the evidence, the Chamberlain’s actions, associated religious/faith, and surrounding circumstances. Through it all, the Lindy and Michael Chamberlain have laid a solid foundation that they were not involved with their child’s murder, and that a wild dingo searching the local camp actually was the guilty party. However, you tell me…..can this possibly be accurate?  Despite the evidence of blood found in the inside of their car and the zipper of a bowling bag, testimony of wildlife/park specialists, and the baby’s clothes found folded and neatly stacked on a nearby park rock, the Chamberlain’s were ultimately found not guilty of involvement in the murder of their baby, Azaria. Lindy, once convicted of Azaria’s murder (October 1982), was later released as the conviction was overturned on a subsequent appeal. Azaria’s father, Michael Chamberlain was also once convicted as an after-the-fact accessory and given a subsequent suspended sentence.  At the time of this article, my understanding is that a body of the baby was never found.

Although the world may never know what “really” happened on that August evening, just ask the average Aussie what their thoughts are of baby Azaria’s abduction and/or murder, and you will notably receive a resounding loud response in perfect Aussie English of “the bloody dingo was framed!”
